On December 22, 2023, the external differential positioning system developed by our company passed the product acceptance organized by a certain aerospace institute. During the acceptance test, the real-time differential positioning accuracy of the external differential positioning system was 2.1m, and the post-differential positioning accuracy was 8.5mm.

image.png  The external differential positioning system is a high-precision positioning system for a certain test base of the army. The system consists of a base station, base station antenna, real-time differential software and post-differential software.

  The base station is installed on the rack of the ground measurement and control station. It can receive signals from satellite systems such as GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, etc., output positioning information and original observation information such as pseudorange, carrier phase, signal-to-noise ratio, etc., and store the information in the data recorder in the base station. After the experiment, the data is downloaded for subsequent differential positioning.

  In order to ensure the accuracy of the observations of the differential base station, the satellite receiving antenna uses a choke antenna, which is installed on a matching tripod. When in use, ensure that there are no obstructions around the antenna.

  In the field test at the test base, a satellite navigation receiver is installed on the flying target. The positioning data and raw observation data of the satellite navigation receiver are transmitted to the telemetry receiving equipment of the ground measurement and control station through the telemetry link. The ground telemetry receiving equipment extracts the data and sends it to the computer.

  The external measurement real-time differential software is run on the computer. The software can simultaneously read the positioning and original observation data of the flight target and the base station, complete data analysis, data storage, real-time differential analysis, etc., and transmit the processed positioning and speed measurement results to the center through the network port;

  After the flight test, the external measurement real-time differential software reads the positioning and observation data of the base station and the flight target from the computer hard disk or from the base station recorder and completes the post-differential analysis to obtain high-precision position information of the flight target.

  The external test differential software is completely independently developed and designed by the company, and can be customized according to the user's requirements for software processes, interface operations, differential positioning parameters, differential data processing, etc. During the development process, the company's software engineers coordinated and communicated with the overall units and users many times to determine the overall design framework and process of the software.
